Global law firm Eversheds has appointed two new partners; corporate expert Mark Beardmore and IT outsourcing partner Simon Jones.
Mark joins Eversheds from DLA Piper where he was a corporate partner and the firm’s Birmingham office managing partner.
Mark is an M&A and private equity lawyer specialising in acting for major corporates and private equity institutions and management teams on acquisitions and disposals. He regularly works on management buyouts, secondary buyouts, development capital investments and exits, as well international transactions.
Simon was DLA Piper’s Birmingham Head of Technology & Sourcing and specialises in the negotiation of complex IT outsourcing and systems integration projects for a wide range of private and public sector clients. He also has significant expertise in advising clients on a wide range of information technology, e-commerce, intellectual property, broadcasting and sports related matters. Simon will join the Eversheds TMT sector group and be based in the firm’s Leeds office.
