Field Fisher Waterhouse has strengthened its real estate investment offering with the hire of partner Rhodri Pazzi-Axworthy from Nabarro. He will join on January 6th 2014 and will be based in the firm's London office.
Rhodri qualified in 1991 and has been a partner at Nabarro since 2006. Prior to that he worked as a partner at Maxwell Batley between 2002 and 2006, before which he was a senior associate at Freshfields between 1995 and 2002.
His practice combines traditional real estate work, where he principally acts for investors and developers, and advising on the real estate aspects of complex corporate and finance driven transactions. His clients include international and domestic real estate funds and companies, end users, banks, real estate outsourcing companies and energy companies.
His practice is founded on advising clients who are focused on institutional investment work, chiefly buying and selling a cross section of real estate assets and asset management. In addition, he has advised a number of clients in the renewable energy sector, particularly those involved with offshore wind farms and solar power. He chaired Nabarro's European Alliance's Real Estate Group.
Managing Partner Michael Chissick said:
"I am delighted to welcome Rhodri as the latest addition to our partnership. His work with institutional clients will combine well alongside our corporate and banking clients, and his experience in renewables and infrastructure also complements our energy team. His arrival will be hugely beneficial to the firm."
