Paul Hastings advised Chicago-based private equity firm Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company ("BPOC") in the acquisition of Paragon Medical, Inc., a turnkey supplier of world-class solutions for custom and standard surgical instrument delivery systems.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in early December.

Corporate partner Brian Richards, Tax partner Ziemowit Smulkowski and Finance partner Louis Hernandez led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Colby Gifford, Holly Snow and Matthew Stoker.
