International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Prysmian Group on the terms of a €100m loan by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to fund their European R&D programmes.

Prysmian Group is world leader in the energy and telecom cables and systems industry. The loan supports projects developed in the Group’s R&D centres in France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.

The Simmons & Simmons team was led by Banking partner Wolfgang Kotzur (Frankfurt) and includes banking partner Davide D'Affronto (Milan) as well as banking associates Constanze Döring (Frankfurt) and Maria Ilaria Griffo (Milan).
