Hogan Lovells advises Deutsche Bank on placement of Hella shares

Led by their Frankfurt based Partner Michael Schlitt Hogan Lovells advised Deutsche Bank AG as Joint Bookrunner on the placement of 2,345,874 shares of Hella KGaA Hueck & Co.

Bankhaus Lampe acted as Joint Bookrunner. The shares have been placed by way of an accelerated bookbuilding to institutional investors.

On May 18, 2017, UBS Group Funding (Switzerland) AG (the"Issuer") completed its issuance of CHF 400 m bail-inable (TLAC) notes under its Senior Debt Programme. The CHF 400 m 0.625% Senior Notes due May 18, 2024, will be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd. (the "Notes").

Homburger advised Credit Suisse AG in Verizon Communications Inc.'s issuance of CHF 1 bn FATCA-compliant Bonds

Credit Suisse AG acted as joint-lead manager together with UBS AG. The bonds will be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

Homburger acted as counsel to Credit Suisse AG. The Homburger team consisted of partners René Bösch (Financial Services), Stefan Oesterhelt (Tax) and counsel Eduard De Zordi (Financial Services).

Linde AG and Praxair, Inc. have announced that the two companies have reached an agreement on the Business Combination Agreement and intend to combine in a merger of equals under a new holding company through an all-share transaction. The transaction is valued at a total of approximately 60 billion Euros. Also after possible signing of a Business Combination Agreement there is no assurance that a transaction will be consummated. The execution of the transaction will be in particular subject to its approval by the shareholders meeting of Praxair, Inc.

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Barclays, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Mediobanca, Natixis, NatWest Markets, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and UniCredit Bank, as dealers, on the Italian and English law aspects of the update of Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A.’s €1.5 billion Medium Term Note Programme.

The Base Prospectus has been approved by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance has advised Duff & Phelps, a global valuation and corporate finance adviser, on its acquisition of Quantera Global Asia Holding, an Asia-Pacific transfer pricing advisory firm affiliated with Quantera Global.

The transaction involved the acquisition of the Quantera business in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam, a restructuring of the Quantera business in the Philippines, Japan and the People's Republic of China and involved a team of lawyers from across Stephenson Harwood's network of Asian offices.
