Gernandt & Danielsson advised the managers in the Humana IPO

Gernandt & Danielsson has advised Carnegie Investment Bank, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, ABG Sundal Collier and DNB Bank in connection with the listing of Humana AB’s shares on Nasdaq Stockholm.

Humana is a leading Nordic care company with over 14,000 full and part time employees which offers services within individual and family care, personal assistance, elderly care and housing with special service according to LSS.

UBS Group AG completed its issuance of USD 1.5 billion 6.875% Tier 1 Capital Notes

On March 21, 2016, UBS Group AG completed its issuance of USD 1.5 billion 6.875% Tier 1 Capital Notes.
Homburger advised UBS on all regulatory and transactional aspects as to Swiss law.

Allen & Overy advises Deutsche Börse on sale of International Securities Exchange (ISE) to Nasdaq

Allen & Overy LLP is advising Deutsche Börse AG on the sale of its International Securities Exchange (“ISE”) to NASDAQ, Inc. The ISE is a leading operator of stock options exchanges in the USA. The purchase price is USD 1.1 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2016 and is currently subject to clearance by the regulatory and competition authorities.

Allen & Overy advises Bayerische Landesbank in connection with a sustainability bond issued by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in an amount of approximately EUR 1.6 billion

Allen & Overy has advised Bayerische Landesbank, as technical manager, in connection with the successful issue of a EUR 1.585 billion sustainability bond by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to Bayerische Landesbank, the banking syndicate comprised HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG, Merrill Lynch International, NATIXIS and UniCredit Bank AG.

Sydney, Australia, 21 March 2016 – Baker & McKenzie successfully acted for Macquarie Captial (Australia) Limtied and UBS AG, Australia Branch, as joint lead managers and underwriters of an A$120 million institutional placement of securities in Aconex Limited (Aconex) to fund Aconex's proposed acquisition of Conject Holding GmbH, which was announced to the market yesterday.  In conjunction with the placement, the joint lead managers also conducted a selldown of approximately $15 million of existing shares in Aconex, on behalf of Aconex co-founders Leigh Jasper and Rob Phillpot

Danske Bank Plc : Financing the acquisition of a Retail asset portfolio by Sirius

We advised Danske Bank Plc in a transaction where Danske Bank financed the acquisition of a portfolio of 20 retail assets located in Finland by Finnish real estate investment manager Sirius Capital Partners. Approximately 50% of the net operating income of the portfolio derived from the Helsinki region and Southern Finland. The assets are anchored by strong tenants, the largest ones being Tokmanni, S-Group and Kesko. The portfolio was acquired from a group of private investors and the total acquisition value amounts to approximately EUR 115 million.

SEB : Financing for Shopping Center Kaari Acquisition

We advised SEB in a Nordic financing arrangement where Niam acquired the Kaari shopping center located in Helsinki, Finland. The Kaari shopping center is Helsinki’s fifth largest shopping center with a total lettable area of approximately 48,000 sqm. This was one of the biggest single target real estate deals in 2015. This deal demonstrates our strong position and expertise in the field of commercial real estate finance.

WFW advises RBS on construction financing of 16 solar PV plants

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised the Royal Bank of Scotland Plc (“RBS”) on the construction financing of 16 solar PV plants located in England and Northern Ireland currently under development by sponsor Lightsource Renewable Energy Holdings Limited. RBS provided senior financing for the transaction. AMP capital provided mezzanine financing for the transaction.

WFW advised on all senior finance aspects and due diligence work streams relating to the matter.
