Paul Hastings represented Wells Fargo Securities, LLC as sole lead arranger and sole bookrunner, and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as the administrative agent, in connection with a $300,000,000 senior secured revolving credit facility for Gran Tierra Energy International Holdings Ltd.

Finance partner Paris Theofanidis led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates R. Cramer Miller and Brian Carter.

Norton Rose Fulbright, Hong Kong, has advised Société Générale and a syndicate of twelve other lenders on Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited’s first syndicated loan facility.

Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2003 and is principally engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of a vast array of health enhancing modernised Chinese medicines and chemical medicines.

King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin has advised GCP Infrastructure Fund (GCP) and the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB) on their project financing of a £47.8 million waste wood biomass plant in Tyseley, Birmingham.

Over its expected 20 year lifetime the 10.3 MW plant is forecast to supply enough renewable electricity to power 17,000 homes each year and is expected to save around 2.1 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent and divert up to 1.3 million tonnes of recovered wood from landfill.

Ashurst advises on £83 million Brunswick social housing project

Ashurst has advised Assured Guaranty, as monoline wrapper, and Lloyds, as bond lead manager, on the long-awaited £83 million bond financed Brunswick social housing PFI project. The project sees an Equitix-led consortium contracting with Manchester City Council for the regeneration of the Brunswick estate which will, when complete, provide around 1,350 homes. Galliford Try and Mears are providing the construction and refurbishment works required by the project and Contour is providing housing management services on behalf of the Council. The contract term is 25 years.

Eversheds has advised Guotai Junan as the sole sponsor, global co-ordinator and bookrunner for the China Creative Home Group Limited IPO. The Group raised HK$648 million through issuing 360 million shares, accounting for about 20% of the enlarged share capital.

China Creative Home Group Limited is a PRC company principally engaged in the design, development, manufacture and sale of electric fireplaces and home décor products.
