Dentons advises DAMAC on tender offer and new sukuk issuance

Dubai—Dentons has advised DAMAC Real Estate Development Limited, a leading developer of high-end and luxury residential property in the Middle East, on its tender offer in respect of the outstanding US$650 million Trust Certificates, due 2019, and a simultaneous new debt issuance of a US$500 million five year Regulation 'S' senior unsecured sukuk, maturing in April 2022, which completed on 20 April 2017. The new Sukuk was issued via a Cayman Islands special purpose vehicle, Alpha Star Holding III Limited.

Kajo Neukirchen Group, a family office, specializing among others in investmenta in companies and real estate, acquired a number of office and commercial buildings in Mannheim and Heidelberg from a project developer based in the Rhine-Neckar region. The purchase includes a listed office property and a residential complex. Kajo Neukirchen Group thus continues its growth in the real estate sector.

San Francisco and Hong Kong – Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that it represented SRE Group Limited (“SRE”), an integrated real estate developer focusing on high-quality development and renewal projects in first-tier cities in China, in its acquisition of 75 Howard in San Francisco, the United States of America. CA IMMO, a Vienna-based real estate company, and Union Investment Real Estate, a German real estate investment manager, successfully sold their co-owned logistics centre named Aerozone, thus completing the strategic process of CA Immo’s withdrawal from the logistics segment.

Aerozone, the last logistics facility co-owned by CA Immo, is strategically located near Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport and has a total floor area of 65 000 sqm.

DLA Piper advises NAI Svefa on acquisition

DLA Piper has advised NAI Svefa on its acquisition of the majority of the shares in Värderingsdata i Kungsbacka AB through the acquisition of shares from a minority of the shareholders and in connection with a share issue in kind in Värderingsdata.

In connection with the acquisition, a separate business area of NAI Svefa regarding property information, Fastighetsinformation, will be integrated in Värderingsdata, which will become the largest player within the field of automated valuation models (AVM) for the Swedish banking and finance market.
