Irwin Mitchell Advises On London Business School’s New Campus Buildings

National law firm Irwin Mitchell‘s Construction team is advising on the construction agreements and development obligations for London Business School’s proposed new campus building.
 
London Business School is refurbishing Old Marylebone Town Hall in central London, which it acquired in 2013, in order to re-open it in late 2016 as a world-class research and teaching centre. The building is vacant and work on the site has commenced.  Wates Construction Limited has been appointed as the main works contractor.

Macquarie Group Limited’s capital raising announced earlier this month, KWM has acted for National Storage REIT in relation to a $57.5 million fully underwritten institutional placement of new stapled securities.

National Storage REIT is a leader in fully-integrated self-storage spaces and was the first of its kind to be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

The purpose of the capital raising is to reduce existing debt to provide NSR with financial flexibility to pursue acquisition opportunities.

Dentons advises STADT UND LAND on the acquisition of 1,000 apartments

Dentons has advised STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH on the acquisition of a property portfolio containing just under 1,000 residential and six commercial units in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district of Berlin. The transaction is still subject to approval by the cartel authorities. The portfolio acquired is nearly fully let and comprises buildings with around 56,500 sqm living space, distributed equally between Marzahn and Hellersdorf.
