Herbert Smith Freehills advises Transmission Capital Partners on Dudgeon OFTO

An energy and infrastructure team, led by David Wyles and Silke Goldberg, has advised Transmission Capital Partners (TCP), a joint venture between International Public Partnerships, Amber Infrastructure Group and Transmission Investment, on the financing and acquisition (for £298 million) of the transmission link to the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm, located off the coast of Norfolk in the UK.

Macfarlanes provides construction advice on the luxury Regent’s Crescent redevelopment

Macfarlanes has advised Regent’s Crescent Property Holding (Lease B) Limited on the construction aspects of the redevelopment of the John Nash designed, Grade 1 listed, Regent’s Crescent into over 70 luxury apartments and mews houses.

Macfarlanes has advised on the letting of the building contract to JRL Group and the construction aspects of the subsequent sharia complaint financing of the development with a value of more than £350m.

International law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has advised Regent’s Crescent Property Holding (Lease B) Limited on a range of sharia compliant senior and mezzanine facilities in excess of £350m to finance its high-end Regent’s Crescent residential development.

The facilities, which will finance the redevelopment of the John Nash designed, Grade 1 listed, properties overlooking Regent’s Park into luxury apartments and mews houses include:

    a senior development facility of £295m;

Baker McKenzie has advised AmRest Holdings SE on the framework of the acquisition of 15 restaurants operated under the KFC brand from KFC France SAS. The acquisition was accompanied by the conclusion of a franchise agreement for each of the 15 restaurants. The transaction is valued at approximately 33.3 million euros.

LONDON – Reed Smith has advised Telereal Trillium, one of the UK’s largest property companies, on the corporate sale of the Hayhill Portfolio to Elite UK Commercial Limited for £282.15 million.

The portfolio, legally and beneficially held by London Wall Outsourcing Holdings Limited, has a combined annual rent of £23.29m and comprises of 97 regional offices let to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) on new, 10-year FRI leases, commencing on 1 April 2018.

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised L'Etoile Properties Real Estate Investment Management GmbH ("L'Etoile") and Koramco Asset Management Co. Ltd. ("Koramco") on the acquisition of a logistics property in Garbsen near Hanover by way of a share deal for around 86 million euros. In this transaction, Koramco acts as asset manager for Korean real estate funds, backed by Korean investors. The seller is the Baum Group, which developed the property itself.
