Dentons works with OSN to secure a new package of International Cricket rights from the ICC

Dentons' Sports and Media practice has advised OSN on its bid for the media rights for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to international cricket matches organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the period 2015-2023. The deal covers 18 ICC tournaments, including two ICC Cricket World Cups, two ICC Champions Trophy tournaments and two ICC World Twenty20 tournaments.

Axel Springer acquires a majority stake in online vacation rental company Leisure

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek advised Axel Springer on the acquisition of a majority stake of 51% of the shares of Leisure, the Dutch parent company of European online vacation rental portals Belvilla.com and Casamundo.com. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

De Brauw acted as lead counsel to Axel Springer and Paul Cronheim was lead partner.

Stampen divests Sports Media to Traveas

Stampen Media Partner has agreed to divest  Stampen Sports Media to Traveas. The sale is part of Stampen’s decision to focus on target markets and core businesses. The transaction is expected to be completed in December 2014.

Stampen Sports Media’s brands include SvenskaFans.com, FanTV.se, Golfing.se and SvenskaRaceFans.com, reaching approximately 350,000 unique visitors per week through websites and mobile applications. Traveas is a media partner to the Swedish and Norwegian Golf Federation and the Swedish Tennis Association.

Clifford Chance has advised Asia Outsourcing Gamma Limited on the sale of Asia Outsourcing US Inc., the US healthcare business of SPi Global, a Philippines-headquartered Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business, to Conifer Holdings Inc. for approximately US$235 million. Asia Outsourcing Gamma Limited is a company indirectly controlled by funds advised by CVC Capital Partners, one of the world’s leading private equity and investment advisory firms, and in which Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company holds a minority interest. Lionbridge Technologies to acquire CLS Communication

VISCHER acts as advisor to Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX) in its acquisition of CLS Communication, a privately held provider of translation solutions to clients in the financial services, industrial, public sector and life sciences markets with headquarter in Zurich, Switzerland. Lionbridge expects to purchase CLS for approximately 74 million Swiss Francs subject to estimated cash and debt adjustments at closing and certain post-closing adjustments.
