Eversheds Sutherland advises Elite Partners Capital on £280m acquisition

First UK real estate venture for the Singaporean investment firm

Eversheds Sutherland has acted as lead legal advisor for Elite Partners Capital on its first UK real estate venture with the acquisition of 97 property assets across the UK through a managed fund.

Elite Partners Capital, an asset management and investment institution based in Singapore, purchased the “Hayhill Portfolio” from Telereal Trillium for £280m through its Elite UK Commercial Fund.

An energy and infrastructure team, led by David Wyles and Silke Goldberg, has advised Transmission Capital Partners (TCP), a joint venture between International Public Partnerships, Amber Infrastructure Group and Transmission Investment, on the financing and acquisition (for £298 million) of the transmission link to the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm, located off the coast of Norfolk in the UK.

KWM advises on Vobile Group’s assets acquisition from an Australian data analytics company

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) advised Vobile Group Limited on the acquisition of assets from IP-Echelon, an Australian premium provider of data analytics with a focus on data analytics technology development and applications in content protection services.

The KWM team was responsible in the preparation and negotiation of the relevant transaction documents, as well as conducting due diligence matters in connection with the transaction in respect of both Hong Kong and Australian laws.

Baker McKenzie and RMT work on the acquisition of 15 KFC restaurants by AmRest Holdings SE

Baker McKenzie has advised AmRest Holdings SE on the framework of the acquisition of 15 restaurants operated under the KFC brand from KFC France SAS. The acquisition was accompanied by the conclusion of a franchise agreement for each of the 15 restaurants. The transaction is valued at approximately 33.3 million euros.

Burges Salmon advises Gresham House on transfer of 70MW battery storage portfolio

The transaction was the first acquisition by new £100m energy storage investment fund, Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc, which was recently admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

Burges Salmon’s Corporate team has advised Gresham House Asset Management, acting in its role as asset manager, on the sale by multiple sellers of five fully operational battery storage facilities, with a combined capacity of 70MW, to Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc (the “Fund”).

Clifford Chance advises L'Etoile Properties and Koramco on the acquisition of a logistics property near Hanover for around 86 million euros

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised L'Etoile Properties Real Estate Investment Management GmbH ("L'Etoile") and Koramco Asset Management Co. Ltd. ("Koramco") on the acquisition of a logistics property in Garbsen near Hanover by way of a share deal for around 86 million euros. In this transaction, Koramco acts as asset manager for Korean real estate funds, backed by Korean investors. The seller is the Baum Group, which developed the property itself.

DLA Piper advises INEOS Enterprises in proposed US$1.1 billion acquisition of Ashland Global Holdings' Composites business

DLA Piper represented INEOS Enterprises in its proposed US$1.1 billion acquisition of Ashland Global Holdings' Composites business, as well as a butanediol (BDO) manufacturing facility in Marl, Germany.

The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2019, subject to regulatory approvals and consultation processes.

Travers Smith advises Mears Group PLC on acquisition of Mitie Group PLC maintenance services business

Travers Smith LLP has advised Mears Group PLC, a leading service partner to the UK social housing and care sectors, on the acquisition from Mitie Group PLC of its maintenance services business. The acquired business provides reactive and planned maintenance services to housing clients in the UK.

Travers Smith also advised on a parallel placing of shares in the capital of Mears to raise approximately £22.5 million to fund the initial cash consideration for the Acquisition.
