NautaDutilh assists Momentum Capital in investment in theme park Maya the Bee

NautaDutilh assists private equity investor Momentum Capital with its investment in a new theme park 'Mayaland' which is situated in Poland and named after cartoon character Maya the Bee.

Momentum Capial's partner in development of this theme park is Plopsa N.V., a subsidiary of entertainment group Studio 100. The theme park will be realised via a Dutch company held by both parties (Momentum 85% en Plopsa 15%).

The NautaDutilh team advising Momentum Capital consists of Gijs ter Braak, Jacqueline Clement and Gerard Carrière.

Ashurst advises RFR Holding on acquisition of property on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin

Ashurst advised RFR Holding GmbH ("RFR") on the acquisition of a business building in Berlin. The property, located on Kurfürstendamm 28, was sold by special fund manager aik for an undisclosed price.

Built in 1892, the property has a rentable space of approximately 3,600 sqm with Deutsche Bank being the main tenant of the retail space. The purchase is RFR's fourth on Kurfürstendamm, with other holdings on the street that include the Upper West highrise and Kurfürstendamm 224 and 188/189.

Dentons advises ERG Renew on the acquisition of two wind parks in Poland

Dentons advised ERG Renew, the largest Italian wind energy operator and one of the leading wind companies in Europe, on the acquisition of two wind parks in Poland. We advised ERG Renew on a €39 million acquisition of a 100 percent equity interest in a Polish SPV developing the wind project in Slupia municipality in Central Poland with a planned capacity of 24 MW, from PAI Polish Alternative Investments RES Sp. z o.o. The project is expected to be completed at the end of 2015, and the wind park will annually generate more than 62 GWh of electricity.

DLA Piper advises on Myer Centre acquisition for Starhill Global REIT

DLA Piper has advised Starhill Global Real Estate Investment Trust on their AU$288 million acquisition of the Myer Centre in Adelaide from ASX-listed Novion Property Group. 

Located in the heart of the CBD and anchored by a newly refurbished Myer store, the Centre is Adelaide's largest shopping centre comprising over 60,000 square metres of retail space and 10,000 square metres of offices. The transaction is the largest retail property deal in Australia year-to-date  and the second largest retail transaction ever for South Australia.

Setterwalls represented GSS Fastigheter in connection with the acquisition of Filmstaden

Setterwalls represented GSS Fastigheter AB in connection with the company's acquisition of Filmstaden from Aberdeen. The property Filmstaden 23 is situated at the underground station Näckrosen in Gamla Råsunda in Stockholm and hosts tenants such as e.g. Universal, Sony Pictures, SF Bio.

Setterwalls' team consisted of Assur Badur (responsible partner) and Nicole Hervidsson.

Slaughter and May is advising China Resources (Holdings) - proposed acquisition of non-beer business of China Resources Enterprise

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, is advising China Resources (Holdings) Company Limited (CRH), controlling shareholder of China Resources Enterprise (CRE), in relation to its proposed acquisition of all the non-beer business segments of CRE for a total consideration of US$3.58 billion (approximately US$1.74 billion payable in cash and the rest by way of a promissory note).

Linklaters advises on India’s largest real estate deal of the year

Linklaters has advised Brookfield Property Partners on the acquisition and related financing of the entire interest in a portfolio owned by Unitech Corporate Parks and IDFC Limited. The portfolio comprises six IT and Special Economic Zones projects with two in Gurgaon, three in Noida and one in Kolkata. The purchase price for the portfolio was partly funded by a US$220,000,000 term loan facility by Brookfield and the onshore debt was refinanced following the acquisition.

VINGE ADVISES PLATZER FASTIGHETER IN CONNECTION WITH ACQUISITION OF GAMLESTADENS FABRIKER

Vinge has advised Platzer Fastigheter in connection with its acquisition of Gamlestadens Fabriker in Gothenburg from Aberdeen for SEK 750 million. The acquisition is part of Platzer Fastigheter’s investment strategy to increase its portfolio within Gamlestaden, which currently consists of approximately 100 000 sq.m. of lettable area and the same amount in future development volume.
