Exclusive Hotels and Venues acquires the Castle Inn Hotel in Castle Coombe

Travers Smith LLP has advised Exclusive Hotels and Venues on its acquisition of the Castle Inn Hotel in Castle Coombe in Wiltshire. The Hotel is located close to the Manor House Hotel, a larger 48-bedroom hotel also owned by the group. The acquisition adds to group’s existing portfolio of four five star hotels, two country house venues, a golf club and meeting venues.

The Travers Smith team advising on the acquisition was led by Real Estate partner Paul Kenny and associate Alissandra Farrar with support from Corporate associate Edward Ainscoe.

Advokatfirman Delphi has been legal advisor to Amasten in Amasten’s acquisition of two real properties in Finspång with an underlying real estate value of SEK 177,5 million.

Advokatfirman Delphi has been legal advisor to Amasten in Amasten’s acquisition of two real properties in Finspång with an underlying real estate value of SEK 177,5 million. The real properties consist of 16 351 square metres and the areas for lease include 215 apartments and a few commercial properties.

Allen & Overy has advised international academic publisher Brill on the successful acquisition of the publishing houses Ferdinand Schöningh and Wilhelm Fink, including the imprint Konstanz University Press. The transaction was effected by way of an asset deal.

WFW advises Capital Stage on acquisition of Italian PV plants

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has advised Capital Stage, Germany’s largest independent solar park operator, on the acquisition of two Italian solar parks with total capacity of 6,2 MWp from a leading European industrial group. Capital Stage is listed on Deutsche Börse’s SDAX. The total investment value of the acquisition, including project debt, amounts to more than €65m.

DLA Piper represents CyrusOne in acquisition from Sentinel Data Centers

DLA Piper advised CyrusOne Inc., a real estate investment trust, in its acquisition of two affiliates of Sentinel Data Centers, the operators two data center properties in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and Somerset, New Jersey, for approximately US$490 million.

The data centers, which total 160,000 square feet and approximately 21 megawatts of power capacity and generated revenue of nearly US$50 million last year, mark CyrusOne's entry into the Southeast market. CyrusOne will have the option to add an additional 230,000 square feet and 37 megawatts of power capacity.

Arntzen de Besche assists DCC Energy in the acquisition of ESSO Norge AS’ retail petrol station network

It was announced 7 February 2017 that DCC Energy has reached an agreement to acquire the retail petrol network for the consideration of NOK 2.43 billion.

Esso's retail petrol station network in Norway comprises a national network of 142 company-operated sites (127 retail service stations and 15 unmanned stations) and has contracts to supply 108 Esso-branded dealer owned stations. As part of the transaction DCC Energy will enter into long term brand and supply agreements with Esso Norge AS.

Real I.S. acquires hotel "me and all" in Düsseldorf with the support of GSK Stockmann

GSK Stockmann has advised Real I.S. on the acquisition of the Düsseldorf hotel "me and all". The seller is project developer “6B47 Germany”. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

The four-star hotel operated by the Lindner Group and located in Immermannstraße 23 in Düsseldorf, is the first hotel of a new Lindner-brand called "me and all". The completely refurbished former office building with over 8,000 sqm of gross floor space opened in November 2016 and offers a sushi bar in addition to the hotel with 177 rooms.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises DOMICIL Real Estate Group on the acquisition of ALPHA and BETA portfolios

Munich-based DOMICIL Real Estate Group (Domicil) acquired two residential portfolios with a total of some 1,800 residential and commercial units from London-based Cording Real Estate Group (Cording) in a share deal following a structured bidding process. The residential portfolios consist of 60 properties spread all across Germany and held by Dutch companies. Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Frankfurt am Main, as well as cities in Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia are the main focus of the portfolios.
