Addleshaw Goddard has acted for Green Property Ventures, a property development and investment company, on the sale of Nine One Elms in Vauxhall to Dalian Wanda Group.
Dalian Wanda Group plans to develop the site into two towers for residential, office and retail use. The towers will be 45 and 60 storeys high and will be connected by a high level bridge. On completion the development will be one of Western Europe's tallest residential schemes and worth more than £700 million.
Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Suncorp Group on its agreement to sell a loan portfolio containing the majority of Suncorp Group’s remaining non-core loan portfolio. A Goldman Sachs subsidiary is the purchaser of the loan portfolio.
The loan portfolio contains non-core corporate and property loans with a face value of approximately A$1.6 billion.
Travers Smith private equity partners Paul Dolman and Chris Hale are advising Raanan Zilberman, the CEO of water and coffee company Eden Springs, on the sale of its European and Israeli operations to a new company backed by New York-based private equity firm Rhône Group, for an enterprise value of €240 million and an equity value of €70 million.
The Travers Smith team is also advising Mr Zilberman on his new equity arrangements with Rhone Group. The team includes Corporate associates Alex Dixon and Jamie Hamilton.

The Manchester office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has advised Salford-based asset management company, Spectrum, on its sale of the 106,000 sq ft Cineworld complex in Cardiff for £19m.
The complex which is next to the St David’s Shopping Centre on Mary Ann Street in Cardiff has been acquired by a fund managed by Henderson Global Investors.
Clifford Chance advised Commerzbank AG on the sale of the Gallileo building in Frankfurt. The purchaser is a consortium of South Korean institutional investors advised by IVG Institutional Funds. The Gallileo complex opened in 2004 and is 136 metres high. The total amount of leasable floor space available is around 40,000 m^2. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details of the purchase price. This transaction also appears to be the first club deal on the German property market involving Korean investors.

DLA Piper and Raynaud and Partners has advised on the sale and purchase of part of Bodio Center in Milan. DLA Piper assisted Aberdeen Asset Management in the transaction regarding the transfer of the real estate portfolio composed of the buildings Bodio 4, Bodio 5, La Vela and La Stilo located in the business park named Bodio Center, Milan, whose offices are leased to primary standing offices.
The portfolio of premises was acquired by AXA Real Estate on behalf of one of its clients, assisted by Raynaud and Partners.
Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Federation Centres and Retail Direct Property on the sale of a 50% interest in six shopping centres throughout Australia to trusts managed by the Challenger Group (Purchaser) for a consideration of $602 million.
