WFW Asia Practice acts for BGCM Partnership on the sale of part of its container fleet to Seaborne Intermodal

The Singapore office of Watson, Farley & Williams LLP (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised BGCM Partnership in relation to the sale of a substantial part of its managed marine cargo container fleet to Seaborne Intermodal, a subsidiary of US private equity firm Lindsay Goldberg, for a consideration of approximately US$408,000,000. The disposal comes as BGCM Partnership – an unlimited partnership registered in Singapore – exits its investments in order to return funds to its investors.

Hogan Lovells Advises on £125m Industry First

LONDON, 10 January 2013 - Hogan Lovells advised The M&G Secured Property Income Fund and Allen & Overy advised Genesis Housing Association on the sale and 35 year operating leaseback of 401 residential apartments in Stratford for approximately £125 million. This transaction marks the first sale of this kind and on this scale by a housing association to a private investment fund. The transaction completed on 8 January 2012.

Genesis and M&G Investments break new ground with unprecedented investment initiative

Allen & Overy's real estate team has advised Genesis on its GBP125m sale and leaseback agreement for its East London development, Stratford Halo.

The agreement with M&G investments will provide Genesis with greater capacity to invest in regenerating balanced communities and in good quality, affordable housing at a time when public subsidy for the development of new homes is expected to fall further.

Business Intelligence Systems Solutions Holdings is involved in creating and marketing state of the art data visualization software that matches human capability.

Hogan Lovells advises Iberdrola in relation to the sale of 32 wind farms in France

Hogan Lovells has advised the Spanish company Iberdrola, the world leader in wind energy and one of the world's top power companies, in relation to the sale of 32 operating onshore wind farms in France to a consortium of EDF Energies Nouvelles (20%), MEAG, asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO (40%), and GE Energy Financial Services (40%).

The transaction is valued at €350 million, plus an additional €50 million depending on wind resources at the wind farms.
