Greenberg Traurig advised HB Reavis on the EUR 200 million sale of Gdanski Business Center - two office buildings located in Warsaw

Greenberg Traurig advised HB Reavis Group on the sale of two A class office buildings, part of the Gdanski Business Center complex in the center of Warsaw. The transaction was conducted through the sale of the corporate structure (including the shares and rights and obligations of the general partners) owning the two office buildings - Gdanski Business Center C and D (GBC) - to Savills Investment Management who acted on behalf of a global pension fund client. The value of the transaction exceeded EUR 200 million. This transaction one of the biggest of its kind in Poland in 2018.

Gide advises Total on the sale of its China polystyrene business to INEOS Styrolution

Gide is advising Total on the sale of its polystyrene business in China to INEOS Styrolution, the leading global styrenics supplier. The sale includes two facilities with annual production capacities of 200,000 tons each, located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, and Foshan, Guangdong Province.

The transaction is subject to the approval of regulatory authorities.

Gide is advising Total on all legal and tax aspects of the project, including legal vendor due diligence, structuring, and negotiation and drafting of the transaction documents.

Energy experts advise AGL on sale of asset portfolio to Whitehelm Capital

Herbert Smith Freehills has advised AGL Energy Limited (AGL) on the sale of a portfolio of assets, known to AGL as the ‘National Assets’. The National Assets were sold to Sustainable Energy Infrastructure, a consortium led by Whitehelm Capital.

The transaction involves the sale of assets, across 18 separate locations throughout Australia, with a combined capacity of 81MW. The National Assets comprise landfill gas, biogas and biomass generation and cogeneration in addition to compressed natural gas refuelling.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Domicil on sale of start portfolio for residential fund

A team led by Dr. Peter Vocke advised Domicil Real Estate Group on the sale of a portfolio consisting of eight existing properties, mainly in A-list cities with a total of almost 500 apartments. The portfolio, worth EUR 86 million, was bought by cooperation partner Wealthcap for its first fund, “Spezial Wohnen 1.” The properties are located in Düsseldorf-Hellerhof, Hamburg (Wandsbek and Borgfelde), Berlin (Treptow-Köpenick), Bielefeld-Jöllenbeck, and Gelsenkirchen-Mitte.

DLA Piper has advised Cologne-based telecommunications provider QSC AG on the spinoff of its telecommunications business to Plusnet GmbH.

This measure forms part of QSC's verticalisation strategy, which involves assigning greater responsibility to individual business units. QSC AG aims to enable all of its business units - Cloud, Internet-of-Things, SAP Consulting, Telecommunications and Colocation - to act on the market with greater agility and increased customer focus.

Dentons advises Hurricane Energy on farm - out of Lincoln and Warwick assets

London—Dentons has advised longstanding client Hurricane Energy plc, the oil exploration and production company focused on fractured basement reservoirs, on the farm-out of 50 per cent of its interests in the Lincoln and Warwick assets (collectively known as the Greater Warwick Area) to Spirit Energy Limited. Spirit Energy is an independent exploration and production operator which was formed by the combination of Centrica plc's E&P business and Bayerngas Norge AS.
