Intershop aquires World Trade Center Lausanne

Intershop has acquired the World Trade Center Lausanne as per 1 December 2016 for a purchase price of CHF105.5 million. The acquisition represents one of the largest real estate M&A transactions in Switzerland during 2016.
 
Walder Wyss has structured the transaction on behalf of the selling lender. The team was lead by Thomas Müller (Partner, Finance) and Johannes Bürgi (Partner, Real Estate) and included Samuel Dürr (Partner, Tax), Jan Ole Luuk (Counsel, VAT), and Julia Lehner (Associate, Real Estate/Finance).

WFW advises PNE WIND AG on 142 MW wind farm portfolio sale to Allianz Global Investors fund

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) advised PNE WIND AG (“PNE“) on its sale of 80% of the shares in its 142 MW wind farm portfolio to a fund managed by Allianz Global Investors GmbH (“AllianzGI”). With a total enterprise value exceeding € 330m, the transaction is the largest wind farm sale in PNE’s history.

Ashurst advises Astaldi on sale of Metro 5

Ashurst is advising Astaldi S.p.A. on the sale of 36.7 per cent stake in M5, the operator of Milan's metro line 5, to Ferrovie dello Stato, the Italian state-controlled railway company. Astaldi will retain a 2 per cent stake.

The Ashurst team was led by Milan-based partner Franco Vigliano, assisted by senior associate Annamaria Pinzuti, counsel Elena Giuffre and Fabio Balza (tax), together with associates Federica Periale, Andrea Semmola, Pamela Infantino and Edoardo Bononi.

A team led by Dr. Mathias Schröder, Partner at the law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Munich, advised insolvency administrator Dr. Hubert Ampferl as the insolvency administrator of Neuburg-based Hematris Wound Care GmbH on the sale of key assets to U.K.-based Arden Hemacare Limited. The assets were purchased from insolvency as part of an asset deal.

McCann FitzGerald advises Gaelectric on the sale of 230MW of wind energy assets to China General Nuclear

We advised Gaelectric Holdings plc on the sale of 230MW of wind farm assets to the renewable energy investment arm of the China General Nuclear Power Group (“CGNP”). The assets include 14 operational and in-development wind farms and are believed to have an enterprise value in excess of €400m.

The sale follows a year-long sales process and will see Gaelectric continue to manage the wind farms on behalf of CGNP and provide power take-off services to the group.

Houthoff Buruma advised CBRE Global Investors (NL) B.V. regarding the acquisition by DRES Master Fund / REI Netherlands of the Project Boompjes 55-58 in Rotterdam, a new real estate development of 344 residential units, parking spaces and commercial space. The seller is First Sponsor (a real estate developer / investor from Singapore) together with Provast (a Dutch real estate developer).
