Burges Salmon advises Belectric on sale of solar farm portfolio

Energy sector experts from Burges Salmon have advised Belectric GmbH on the sale of three further solar projects – Atherstone, Paddock Wood and Southam, located in Warwickshire and Kent – which were previously owned by a Joint Venture company between First Solar GmbH and Belectric GmbH.

Belectric GmbH, a world leader in the construction of solar power plants, sold the solar projects, with an aggregate output of 34MW, to a Joint Venture between Foresight and the community benefit solar group co-operating with Belectric, Big60Million.

Clifford Chance advises METRO GROUP on the sale of the majority shareholding in 10 Real hypermarket sites to Carlton Investment

Clifford Chance advised METRO PROPERTIES, the real estate subsidiary of METRO GROUP, on the divestment of the majority shareholding in 10 Real hypermarket sites to Carlton Investment as part of a joint venture.

Carlton Investment is a joint enterprise between Hildesheim-based Lüder group and Berlin-based investor Jan Wehle. The transaction relates to the so called “Socrates portfolio,” which METRO PROPERTIES had reacquired from the DELEK Group in 2014.

AstraZeneca today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Genzyme to divest Caprelsa (vandetanib), a rare disease medicine.

Caprelsa was granted Orphan Drug Designation by the US FDA in 2005 and is currently available in 28 countries for the treatment of aggressive and symptomatic medullary thyroid carcinoma, with global product sales of $48 million in 2014.

Advising Longsol BV in connection with the sale of two solar power plant to DIF Infrastructures III

Advising Longsol BV in connection with the sale to DIF Infrastructure III of 100% of the shares of the 8.9 MW Valence sur Baïse and 10.7 MW Saint Leger solar projects located in South-West France.

The projects reached commercial operation at the end of 2011 and sell power pursuant to 20 year French feed-in-tariff contracts.

The ground-mounted plants are equipped with polycrystalline solar panels and the operation & maintenance is undertaken by the Spanish EPC contractor TSK. Long term project financing is in place for both projects.

Baker & McKenzie has advised Zehnder Group, a Swiss-headquartered international leader in heating, cooling and ventilation systems and solutions, on the sale of a production plant in in Chalons-en-Champagne, France. The Chalons plant has been increasingly focused on sheet metal processing and sheet metal processing for third-party customers does not form part of the Zehnder Group's core business.

DLA Piper and Colliers International advise Sterling Developments on the portfolio sale of twelve shopping centres and specialty retail markets to Värde

DLA Piper and Colliers International have advised Sterling Developments, an investment partnership located in Manchester, on the portfolio sale of 12 shopping centres and speciality retail markets comprising of approximately 32,000 sqm lettable area, known as 'Stellar Portfolio', to the investment manager Värde. The structured sales process was completed within a marketing period of just under ten weeks from first market approach mid April 2015 until signing mid July. The sale was part of an asset deal.

White & Case Advises CBRE Global Investors on €1.3 Billion Sale of Ten Shopping Centers

White & Case LLP has advised CBRE Global Investors on the sale for nearly €1.3 billion of a portfolio of ten French and Belgian shopping centers, owned by CBRE Retail Property Fund France Belgium CV (RPFFB), to a consortium of China Investment Corporation and AEW.

The portfolio includes two prime shopping centers in Belgium, in the Waasland region and 50 percent of Wijnegem Shopping Centre, as well as eight assets in France including the La Vache Noire shopping center in the Paris area and 60 percent of the Mayol shopping center in Toulon.

Setterwalls has assisted Arise AB (publ) in the sale of the wind farm Ryssbol to KumBro Vind

Setterwalls has assisted Arise AB (publ) in connection with its sale of the wind farm Ryssbol to KumBro Vind AB.wind The wind farm consists of six wind turbines with a total effect of 12 MW. Construction is planned to start in November 2015 and the wind farm will be operational after approx. 12 months. The deal is subject to approval from the owners of KumBro Vind AB (Örebro and Kumla municipalities).

Setterwalls assists Valdemar Estate and Valdemar Skane on sale of properties in Arlöv and Lund

Setterwalls has advised Valdemar Estate and Valdemar Skane, which is part of the Danish group Absalon Pension, in the sale of land in Arlöv to Magnolia Bostad and at the conclusion of a partnership to develop land in central Lund. The projects are expected to lead to around 450 new homes in Arlöv and Lund. Both deals were made through corporate transactions and are conditional on detailed development plans becoming final.
