Advising Louis Dreyfus Company on its U.S.$300 Million Senior bond issuance

Advising global agribusiness Louis Dreyfus Company on its new issue of senior bonds for an amount of U.S.$300 million with a 6-year tenor. This follows on from the successful placement of a €400 million Eurobond in February this year, on which De Pardieu Brocas Maffei also advised.

The bonds are listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s regulated market.

ABN AMRO Bank N.V., HSBC Bank plc, J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Natixis acted as joint lead managers on the bond issue.

The transaction closed on 13 June 2017.

Baker McKenzie advises lenders on largest ever Syndicated Term Loan to the African Export-Import Bank

Baker McKenzie advised lenders led by Standard Chartered Bank on a new US$1.16 billion equivalent (US$632,900,000 and €499,552,000) Dual Tenor Dual Currency Syndicated Term Loan Facility to African Export-Import Bank (“Afreximbank”). The deal raised over US$1.3billion which, following a scale-back, resulted in a final facility size equivalent to US$1.16 billion, will be used to refinance Afreximbank’s existing US$458m and EUR406.5m Term Loan Facility dated 2015 as well as for trade financing and general corporate purposes.

Davis Polk Advises AstraZeneca on Its $2 Billion SEC-Registered Notes Offering

Davis Polk advised AstraZeneca PLC in connection with its SEC-registered shelf takedown of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 2.375% notes due 2022, $750 million aggregate principal amount of 3.125% notes due 2027 and $250 million aggregate principal amount of floating-rate notes due 2022.

AstraZeneca is a global, innovation-driven biopharmaceutical business that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialization of prescription medicines for three main therapy areas of health care: cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, oncology and respiratory.

White & Case Advises Saferoad on Post-IPO Refinancing

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the Saferoad Group on an unsecured refinancing related to the listing of Saferoad Holding ASA on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

The refinancing includes a NOK 925 million term loan facility, a NOK 500 million multicurrency revolving credit facility and a NOK 350 million guarantee facility.

Saferoad is a leading road safety and road infrastructure solutions provider in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe and has approximately 2,700 employees located in more than 20 European countries.

Vinge has advised Lendify in connection with a Swedish securitisation

Lendify AB (”Lendify”), a P2P-lending platform, has issued SEK 200,000,000 bonds on 30 May 2017 through its wholly-owned subsidiary Lendify Sweden 1 AB (publ). The bonds have a tenor of three years and an annual interest rate of three-months Stibor + 5 %. The bonds are intended to be listed on the regulated market NDX, operated by Nordic Growth Market AB.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises in Catena Media’s issue of additional bonds in an amount of EUR 50 million within a framework amount of EUR 100 million.

Catena Media p.l.c has completed an issue of additional bonds in an amount of EUR 50 million. After the tap issue, the total outstanding amount of Catena Media’s bond loan will amount to EUR 100 million which equals the total framework amount of the bond loan. The bond loan is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and Catena Media will apply for listing of the new bonds on the Corporate Bond List at Nasdaq Stockholm.
