Gilbert + Tobin is pleased to have advised Deutsche Bank AG, New York Branch and Sydney Branch on its joint arranging and underwriting of a $852 million senior debt facility for the AirTrunk Group, which is the largest data centre-specific financing undertaken in Australia to date.  The financing will allow the AirTrunk Group to build out significant additional capacity for its customers.

Rabobank establishes market first 'green' commercial paper programme

White & Case Advises Banks on Transdev Group's €220 Million Inaugural Notes Offering

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the bank syndicate composed of Natixis, Société Générale and Crédit Agricole CIB, as Joint Lead Managers, on the inaugural unlisted €220 million notes offering by way of private placement by France-based international private public transport operator Transdev Group.

The transaction was divided in two series of notes: €150 million 1.779% notes due 2025, and €70 million 2.051% notes due 2026.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises AirTrunk on landmark AU$850 million data centre financing

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has acted for AirTrunk, a specialist in hyperscale data centres, on the successful completion of an AU$850 million financing process to fund a major expansion of its Australian data centres in Sydney and Melbourne, and across key Asia-Pacific markets. The financing will be the largest by a data centre company in Australia to date. 

Grant Samuel acted as financial adviser to AirTrunk in relation to the transaction.

Davis Polk Advises AstraZeneca on Its $3 Billion SEC-Registered Notes Offering

Davis Polk advised AstraZeneca PLC in connection with its SEC-registered shelf takedown of $850 million aggregate principal amount of 3.500% notes due 2023, $400 million aggregate principal amount of floating rate notes due 2023, $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.000% notes due 2029 and $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.375% notes due 2048.

Slaughter and May advised CEVA Logistics AG on its comprehensive $1.4bn refinancing

Slaughter and May advised CEVA Logistics AG (CEVA), a leading contract logistics and freight management provider, on the refinancing of its existing financing arrangements (the Refinancing). The Refinancing follows CEVA’s successful IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange earlier this year.

The Refinancing involved:

    the establishment of a new senior secured credit facility agreement, comprising a $585,000,000 revolving credit facility and a $475,000,000 term loan B facility,  governed by English law (the Facilities); and

Hogan Lovells acted for Tanarra Credit Partners as lead counsel on two financing transactions that have closed this week.

The first transaction provided funding to Australian private equity firm Next Capital for the acquisition of iseek Communications, a Brisbane-based data centre business.

The second transaction provided funding to a portfolio company of another Australian private equity firm, CHAMP Ventures' Ansett Aviation Training.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises on MIGA backed financing investment in the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised a consortium of lenders on a Multi-Lateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) financing. The lenders comprise AKA Bank, Citibank, Credit Agricole CIB, ING, LBBW, Santander and Soc Gen.

The MIGA guarantee is being issued under the non-honoring of a sovereign financial obligation scheme. The financing will be used by the borrower Southern Gas Corridor CJSC, in respect of the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP). The pipeline is estimated to be 1,850km long.
