Firm advises on significant retail bond issuance by LendInvest

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised LendInvest Limited on the establishment of a £500m Euro Medium Term Note Programme for its subsidiary LendInvest Secured Income plc, and on the issuance of £50 million 5.25 per cent Notes due 2022. This is the first bond issuance by a member of the LendInvest group and is listed on the London Stock Exchange’s Order Book for Retail Bonds.

Hogan Lovells advises Globus Holding on the issuance of a participation certificate

Led by their Frankfurt-based Partner Michael Schlitt and Counsel Susanne Lenz Hogan Lovells advised the retail group Globus Holding GmbH & Co. KG on the issuance of a participation certificate.

Already in 2016 Michael Schlitt together with Patrck Mittmann advised Globus Holding GmbH & Co. KG on a € 150 Million corporate loan.

Globus Holding is a retail group based in St. Wendel and consists of Globus department stores in Germany, Czech Republic and Russia, Globus specialist stores as well as Alphatecc electronic specialist stores.

Linklaters advises Anglian Water on debut issuance of Green Bonds, the first by a UK utility

Linklaters has advised Anglian Water on its £250m debut issuance of Green Bonds, the first such issuance by a UK utility. The transaction was structured to meet the requirements of the 2017 Green Bond Principles as published by ICMA and enables Anglian Water to issue Green Bonds under its note programme as part of its whole business securitisation financing.

Vinge has advised Cabonline in connection with the listing of its bond loan on Nasdaq Stockholm

Nasdaq Stockholm has approved Ixat Intressenter AB (publ)’s (“Ixat Intressenter”) application for admission to trading of a secured bond loan of SEK 1,550 million with a tenor of three years. The prospectus was published on 9 August 2017. The first day of trading was 11 August 2017. Vinge advised Ixat Intressenter.

Vinge has advised Sparbanken Skåne

Vinge acted as legal adviser in connection with Sparbanken Skåne AB (publ)’s (”Sparbanken Skåne”) establishment of a programme for the issuance of covered bonds in accordance with the Swedish Covered Bonds Issuance Act (SFS 2003:1223).

The programme enables Sparbanken Skåne to continuously issue notes in SEK within a maximum outstanding nominal amount of SEK 30 billion at each time. The borrowing through covered bonds will enable Sparbanken Skåne to increase its presence on the capital market and to diversify its borrowing.

Vinge Has Advised Stendörren In Connection With A Bond Issue Of Up To SEK 1,000 Million

Vinge has advised Stendörren Fastigheter AB (publ) (“Stendörren”) in connection with a bond issue of up to SEK 1,000 million senior unsecured floating rate bonds. The bonds have a tenor of three years and a floating interest rate of three-months Stibor plus 4 per cent. ABG Sundal Collier AB and Swedbank have acted as financial advisors to Stendörren. Swedbank also acted as Issuing Agent.

Project FINO: Allen & Overy counsel PIMCO on giant NPL deal

Allen & Overy has advised funds managed by PIMCO on investments in Project Fino, the divestment by Unicredit of EUR17.7 billion of Italian non-performing loans by way of separate securitisations to PIMCO-managed funds and Fortress Investment Group. The transaction is regarded as the most significant deal to date in the Italian NPL sector.
“This is an important sale and one that sets a precedent for other Italian banks to follow suit,” commented partner Stefano Sennhauser, who led the transaction from Milan.
 

CMS Bur­eau Fran­cis Le­fe­b­vre and White & Case on Plastic Om­ni­um's new bond is­sue

Plastic Omnium, a leader in auto exterior components and modules, fuel systems and emission reduction systems, has successfully completed a new bond issue, raising €500,000,000 from institutional investors.

The bonds bear interest at an annual rate of 1.25 % and will mature on 26 June 2024.
