Herbert Smith Freehills advises first H-share issuer to list under Hong Kong Stock Exchange's biotech rules

Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised the banking syndicate involved in China drug developer Shanghai Junshi Biosciences Co., Ltd. US$394 million IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

CICC was the sole sponsor for the transaction with Citi bank,  Credit Suisse, Fosun Hani, China International Securities and Caitong International Securities acting as joint bookrunners and lead managers.

AsiaInfo Technologies Limited HK$865.3 Million (US$110.6 Million) Initial Public Offering

Davis Polk advised the underwriters in the initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the international offering in reliance on Rule 144A and Regulation S of AsiaInfo Technologies Limited. The net proceeds from the offering amounted to approximately HK$865.3 million (US$110.6 million) prior to the exercise of the over-allotment option.

Crossword Cybersecurity, the technology and consulting company focusing on the cyber security sector, has floated on the AIM market in London a market capitalisation of approximately PS13.6 million, following a successful placing and subscription of approximately PS2.0 million before expenses.

Dechert Advises Clanwilliam Group in Securing Successful Funding for Global Expansion

Dechert LLP has advised Clanwilliam Group, an international provider of healthcare technology and services headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, in relation to a €200 million debt placement with Alcentra. The funding will initially provide Clanwilliam Group with €200 million of committed capital to refinance existing facilities, in addition to near term acquisition opportunities. This is one of the largest refinancings to take place in Europe in 2018.

Hong Kong – Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm has advised Luzhou City Commercial Bank on its US$221 million global offering and IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Luzhou City Commercial Bank is the only and largest city commercial bank in Luzhou, Sichuan Province. CLSA Capital Markets Limited acted as the sole sponsor and CLSA, CCB International and China Galaxy International acted as the joint global coordinators for the listing.
