ÅAC offers the satellite market avionics products (electronics for aerospace) with focus on data handling, such as on-board computers and mass storage and power supply. ÅAC also markets entire satellites in consortiums with other specialised suppliers. The focus is on micro satellites. ÅAC’s technical competence is in the advanced and robust, fault-tolerant microelectronics for critical applications. ÅAC is based in Uppsala.  

Viking Supply Ships AB completes rights issue

On 25 November 2016, the board of directors of Viking Supply Ships AB resolved, pursuant to the authorisation granted by the annual general meeting, on a rights issue of approximately SEK 207 million and to carry out a directed share issue and offset share issues together corresponding to approximately MSEK 141 to strengthens the group’s financial position in accordance with an agreement on financial restructuring.

Volvo Cars issues preference shares of SEK 5 billion

Volvo Cars has issued preference shares in an amount of SEK 5 billion to a group of Swedish institutional investors. The preference shares may be repurchased or converted into common shares in the event of a future listing of the company. The group of investors comprises of the pension funds AMF and the First Swedish National Pension Fund and the insurance company Folksam.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises Swedbank in relation to its issue of Additional Tier 1 Capital

On 9 December 2016, Swedbank AB (publ) completed an issue of Additional Tier 1 Capital in order to optimise its capital structure. The Additional Tier 1 Capital consists of debt instruments in the amount of USD 500 million that converts into ordinary shares if the bank’s own funds decreases to a certain level. The debt instruments will be admitted to trading on the Global Exchange Market which is regulated by the Irish Stock Exchange.

DLA Piper advises Seeing Machines Limited on £17 million capital raising

DLA Piper has advised technology company Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE) on its £15 million (approximately AU$25.7 million) capital raising through a placing and subscription.

The fundraising involved the conditional placing of new ordinary shares with institutional investors by finnCap Ltd, and an opportunity to certain existing shareholders to raise up to a further £2 million (approximately AU$3.4 million) under an overseas offer and Australian offer.

Vinge has advised Pandox in connection with a directed share issue

Vinge has advised Pandox Aktiebolag (publ) in connection with a directed share issue of 7,499,99 class B shares at a subscription price of SEK 135 per share. Through the share issue, Pandox will obtain approximately SEK 1,012 million. The subscription price was determined through an accelerated book-building process. The share issue is directed to selected Swedish and international institutional investors.

Hogan Lovells advises Deutsche Telekom AG on placement of Scout24 AG shares

Led by their Frankfurt-based partner Michael Schlitt Hogan Lovells advised Deutsche Telekom AG on the placement of 1.8m Scout24 AG shares.

Deutsche Telekom placed the shares together with Willis Lux Holdings 2 S.à r.l. in liquidation, German BMEP Ord GmbH & Co. KG und MEP Ord GmbH & Co. KG in the course of an accelerated bookbuilding procedure at a price of 32 € per share with investors. This placement increased Scout24's free float since their flotation on the stock market.
