The offering consisted of a public offering to retail and institutional investors in Sweden and private placements to international institutional investors in various jurisdictions around the world.

KWM advises GF Securities on its H-share issuance

King & Wood Mallesons (“KWM”) advised GF Securities Co., Ltd. (“GF Securities”) on its successful Hong Kong IPO and H-share issuance. Already listed in Shenzhen, GF Securities issued 1,479,822,800 H-shares originally priced at HK$18.85 and raised approximately HK$28 billion (before exercising the overallotment option) among which 221,973,400 shares were under the exercise of the overallotment option.

P+P advised Venture Stars on the launch and fundraising for its first venture capital fund

The Munich company builder Venture Stars has successfully completed the fundraising for its first venture capital fund. The Venture Stars Portfoliobeteiligungsgesellschaft I GmbH & Co. KG focuses on investments in digital business models in the areas of e-commerce, online marketplaces and e-services.

The fund was closed with a maximum amount of the subscribed capital of EUR 15 million, which significantly exceeded the target volume. The investors comprise a group of experienced private investors, family offices and institutional investors.

Clifford Chance advises Saudi Ground Services on its IPO and listing on the Saudi Stock Exchange

Clifford Chance advised Saudi Ground Services (SGS) on its IPO and listing on the Saudi Stock Exchange. The IPO was undertaken through the sale of 30% of the share capital of SGS to potential investors. SGS allocated 33.84 million shares to institutional investors and 22.56 million shares to retail investors at a price of SAR50 per share. The IPO was considerably oversubscribed and raised SAR2.82 billion (c.US$752 million).

Ltd. (Stock Code: 6183) on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

Travers Smith advises on £250m placing by Playtech PLC

Travers Smith Corporate Finance partner Richard Spedding has advised Canaccord, UBS and Shore Capital on the £250m accelerated bookbuild placing for Playtech plc.

Canaccord Genuity is acting as Sponsor and Joint Bookrunner, UBS as Joint Bookrunner and Shore Capital as Lead Manager to the placing.  Playtech is to use the proceeds to fund future acquisitions including Plus500 and, potentially, a midsize B2C broker over which its newly acquired subsidiary TradeFX has an option to purchase.

Hogan Lovells has successfully advised on two capital markets transactions with a combined value of over US$164 million.

On the first transaction, we advised CLSA Limited on the placing of 302 million new shares of CITIC Dameng Holdings Limited, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, for approximately US$50.7 million. CITIC Dameng is one of the world’s largest vertically integrated manganese producers, engaging in the production and sales of manganese products at all stages of the production chain.

McCann FitzGerald advises Joint Bookrunners on IPO of Applegreen plc

McCann FitzGerald advised Goodbody Stockbrokers and Shore Capital in their role as Joint Bookrunners, Joint Brokers and ESM/ Nominated Advisers on the IPO and admission to trading of the shares of Applegreen plc on the Enterprise Securities Market of the Irish Stock Exchange plc and the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange plc. The IPO raised gross proceeds of approximately €70 million for the Company.
