The hotel that hosted guitar legend Jimi Hendrix a number of times, is operated by glh Hotels and located on Oxford Street opposite Marble Arch, London. It will be the first Hard Rock Hotel in the UK when conversion is completed in 2018.
King & Wood Mallesons has advised Gryphon Minerals Limited on a Scheme Implementation Agreement (SIA) with Teranga Gold Corporation.
Teranga Gold will acquire all of the ordinary shares of Gryphon via a scheme of arrangement. Under the SIA, each Gryphon Share will be exchanged for 0.169 common shares of Teranga, implying a total equity value for Gryphon of approximately $86m on a fully diluted basis.

The conclusion of the contract was celebrated at a media launch held at The Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga last Thursday, 2nd June 2016 where the Radisson Blu Hotel, Durban Umhlanga was officially announced.
