Sofinnova invested 3.2 million euro in Agrosavfe

Sofinnova invested EUR 3.2 million in Agrosavfe, a Belgian agro-biotech company located in Ghent. Agrosavfe was established in 2013 as a spin-off from VIB (Flemish Institute for Biotechnology) and develops camelid binding domains, or Agrobodies®, for diverse applications in agriculture. Sofinnova joins other investors including Gimv, VIB, PMV and Rudi Mariën.

Eubelius assisted Sofinnova in respect of its investment in Agrosavfe. The Eubelius team for this transaction was led by Matthias Wauters and Robin Van Gysel.

Hogan Lovells Advises ISA in Investment of up to US$80 Million in Andean Tower Partners

Hogan Lovells represented infrastructure development provider ISA, in an agreement to invest up to USD$80 million in Andean Tower Partners Holdings LLC (ATP), a private owner of wireless communication towers and equipment in Colombia and Peru. ATP is a subsidiary of Digital Bridge Andean Tower Holdings LLC, a North American company.

Gleiss Lutz advises Union Investment on participation in ZBI Zentral Boden Immobilien Gruppe

Gleiss Lutz has advised Union Asset Management Holding AG (Union Investment) on the acquisition of a 49.9 percent participation in the newly established ZBI Partnerschafts-Holding GmbH (ZBI Partnerschafts-Holding). The ZBI group’s extensive experience and competence in the area of residential property will be concentrated and continued in the form of an independent unit specialising in residential property investments. An agreement to that effect was signed on 6 March 2017.

Linklaters advises on US$240m UC Rusal share sale

Linklaters advised VTB Capital, and Renaissance Capital and CLSA Ltd on the sale by Onexim Holdings Ltd of a c.3% stake in UC Rusal.

UC Rusal is one of the largest aluminium producers in the world, with ordinary shares listed on the Hong Kong and Moscow Stock Exchanges. It is also listed on Euronext Paris in the form of Global Depositary Shares (GDRs) and Moscow Exchange in the form of Russian Depositary Receipts (RDRs).

Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is advising TDR Capital, Sun Capital and their portfolio company Keepmoat Limited on the sale of Keepmoat’s regeneration arm to energy and services provider ENGIE. Keepmoat is a leading homebuilder and regeneration business in the UK and the number one partnership housebuilder to the public sector. Read more about the transaction here.

The consideration for the transaction, which was announced on March 2, 2017, is approximately GBP330 million.
