Slaughter and May advised GE Capital International Holdings Limited on the sale of its remaining stake of approximately 18.0% of the share capital of MONETA Money Bank, a.s. (Moneta), which raised gross proceeds of approximately CZK 7.5 billion (the Sale). The Sale, which was announced on 15 November 2016, was conducted by an accelerated book-building process.

Trowers & Hamlins LLP has advised leading digital advertising site provider, Outdoor Plus on its recent investment deal with Inflexion Private Equity.

Addleshaw Goddard advises Inflexion Outdoor Plus deal

Addleshaw Goddard's Manchester corporate team has advised Inflexion on its Partnership Capital minority investment into Outdoor Plus, a leading provider of high profile digital advertising sites in the UK.

The deal will allow Outdoor Plus to continue with its growth strategy of acquiring new sites across the country. Industry veteran Nigel Sharrocks will join the board as Non-Executive Chairman.

The AG team was led by Andy Green, and included Adam Kaucher, Helena Drury, Josie Marsden and Becky Green, with support from the Firm's Tax and Banking teams.

Series B Investment in NBE Therapeutics

NBE Therapeutics, a company developing next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), recently announced the closing of a CHF 20 m Series B financing round and a collaboration with SOTIO a.s. for the discovery, non-clinical development and manufacturing of novel ADC products. As part of the deal, the PPF Group has committed to invest CHF 10 m in NBE. VISCHER has been advising the PPF Group in the financing transaction. Mayer Brown advises TUI Ventures on acquisiton of shares of peakwork AG

Mayer Brown represented TUI Ventures on the acquisition of a 15,4% stake in peakwork AG. With this transaction, the financial investor is investing in the technology provider for the tourism. The two partners are aiming to establish a global market standard for the distribution of tourism services. The company is planning to attract further investors. The parties have agreed not to disclose the investment price. The investment was facilitated through a capital increase and shares from existing peakwork shareholders.

Irwin Mitchell Advises On Landmark Deal For BGF

Sheffield-based Coppergreen Developments, the owner of Woodland Lakes Lodges, a holiday park in Carlton Miniott near Thirsk, has secured a £25m funding package from BGF (Business Growth Fund) and HSBC.

The investment has been used to support the acquisition of Piperdam Golf and Leisure Resort near Dundee, as well as 350 acres of adjoining land, Blacklaw Estate.

Kirkland & Ellis has advised EMR Capital, a specialist mining private equity manager, which recently closed EMR Capital Resources Fund II. The fund was oversubscribed and closed with aggregate capital commitments of US$860 million. The fund, which will make investments in global metals and mining companies and projects, accepted commitments from a broad mix of global institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, family offices and fund of funds.

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, advised Tenaga Nasional Berhad (Tenaga) in relation to the subscription, through its wholly owned subsidiary Power and Energy International (Mauritius) Ltd. (PEIM), for equity shares in GMR Energy Limited (GMR Energy) and its proposed strategic partnership with GMR Energy in the power production business in India. The subscription will give PEIM a 30% stake in GMR Energy on a fully diluted basis for a total cash consideration of US$ 300 million.

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) on the sale by KKR International Flooring 2 S.à.r.L. of its 10.2% stake in Tarkett, the global leader in flooring and sports surfaces.

The transaction was carried out through a private placement by way of an accelerated book building to institutional investors for a total amount of approximately 196 million euros. BNP Paribas acted as bookrunner on the transaction.
