Their landmark project "The World Food Building" in Linköping, Sweden, is attracting global attention and is seen by many as leading the development of large scale and sustainable food production in cities.

Homburger advised Zur Rose Suisse AG in a transaction to form a cooperation between Zur Rose and Switzerland's largest retailer Migros on the operation of shop-in-shop pharmacies in Migros markets. Zur Rose and Migros agreed to run a pilot shop-in-shop pharmacy in a Migros market in Berne to test the concept. If successful, the parties intend to roll out approximately 50 shop-in-shop pharmacies throughout Switzerland.

Trowers & Hamlins advises The Hyde Group on Joint Venture deal

Trowers & Hamlins has advised The Hyde Group on their first contractual joint venture deal with house builder Hill, to build 287 homes in Brent.

The £150m development of private and affordable homes covers three brownfield sites and has secured planning permission, with construction due to start this month.

The deal involved both public and private sector negotiations that saw the team advising on property and joint venture contracts and long-term property management.

The transformation of DO Deutsche Office AG (“Deutsche Office”) into a German limited partnership with a limited liability company as general partner (so-called “GmbH & Co. KG”) with alstria Prime Portfolio GP GmbH joining as general partner, as resolved by the General Meeting on 12 July 2016, has come into effect on 9 December 2016 with its entry into the Commercial Register. Upon transformation, the company shall bear the name alstria office Prime Portfolio GmbH & Co. KG.

CMS advises Astra Rail on establishing joint venture with Greenbrier Europe

28 October 2016 – US-based freight wagon manufacturer The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. and its Romanian counterpart, Astra Rail, are forming a joint venture in Europe. Once the transaction has been completed, Greenbrier will hold around 75% and Astra Rail approximately 25% of the shares in the newly established company, Greenbrier-Astra Rail.

CMS advised Astra Rail on all legal aspects of the amalgamation with Greenbrier Europe. Spanning five jurisdictions, establishing the joint venture involved a number of complex structuring issues relating to corporate and tax law.

GSK Stockmann + Kollegen advises joint venture from Bavarian Pension Fund, Hammer AG and GLL to acquire 70,000 sqm of office space in Munich

GSK Stockmann + Kollegen has advised a joint venture consisting of a fund of the Bavarian Pension Fund (BVK) and Hammer Real GmbH, a company of Hammer AG, on the purchase of premises at Hufelandstraße 4-8 and Knorrstraße 138 in Munich. Silence has been agreed on the purchase price. The share of the Bavarian Pension Fund manages the GLL Real Estate Partners GmbH in Munich.

Pinsent Masons advises Aberdeen Infrastructure Funds on strategic partnership with Intertoll

Pinsent Masons has advised Aberdeen Asset Management's Infrastructure Funds (AIF) on its acquisition of a 49.99% stake in Intertoll Europe’s PPP portfolio for ZAR 633.2 million (EUR 43 million).
