CMS has advised SEGRO, owner of SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków, on the lease of 30 000 sq.m. of warehouse space.
SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków, offering modern warehouse and production space, is located in the immediate vicinity of the junction of Poland’s two pivotal motorways – A1 (North-South) and A2 (East-West). Completed in 2006, the facility currently totals 200 000 sq.m. and could be expanded to 400 000 sq.m.
Plesner assisted Lundbeck with the sale of approximately 33,000 sqm office buildings in Valby.
The buildings constitute a part of Lundbeck's headquarters in Valby that is no longer used by Lundbeck.
The buildings were purchased by Danish pension funds Juristernes og Økonomernes Pensionskasse (JØP) and Danske civil- og akademiingeniørers Pensionskasse (DIP).
In connection with the sale Plesner also assisted Lundbeck entering into an agreement about letting of the property to the City of Copenhagen.
Effective March 1, 2018, the state of Baden-Württemberg is looking for a new leaseholder for the restaurants and food service at Wilhelma in Stuttgart, one of the most visited zoological-botanical gardens.
The leaseholder is to increase the quality of Wilhelma's food and beverage service based on regional, seasonal, sustainable, and biological offerings. The leaseholder will also be required to renovate the historically listed restaurant buildings during ongoing operation.
Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Qube Holdings Limited and related entities on its agreement with Target Australia for the development and leasing of a new purpose-built warehouse and office facility at Moorebank Logistics Park in NSW. The new Target facility is due for completion in early 2019 and the term of the lease is for 10 years plus options.
Fotografiska runs the world renowned photography museum in Stockholm. The new premises at The White Chapel Building will be its first gallery outside Stockholm and will be used as Fotografiska – The London Museum of Photography.
Following completion of the works to construct the new office pavilion (which is expected in H2 2018), Fotografiska will take a 15-year lease at a basic annual rent of approximately £2.4 million.
Ashurst advised Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate GmbH (Warburg-HIH Invest) on the conclusion of a rental agreement with Gruner + Jahr (G + J) for the future headquarters of the publishing house in Hamburg.
The parties have agreed not to disclose any details relating to the rental agreement.
Shir Hotels has signed a long-term hotel lease agreement with a Scandinavian hotel operator regarding the operation of Shir’s hotel in Frankfurt, currently operated as a Wyndham Grand, starting at the beginning of 2018. The hotel is located in the city centre, a few minutes’ walk from the central station and about 10 kilometres from the airport. Taylor Wessing led by its Frankfurt based specialist for Hotels & Leisure Martin Bartlik acted in this transaction for Shir Hotels.
Goltsblat BLP, the Russian practice of international law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP), advised Deutsche Bank Technology Centre on leasing offices in Moscow’s Aquamarine III Business Centre at 24 Ozerkovskaya Embankment. This, the biggest Class A office lease deal in Moscow this year so far, was also supported by JLL consultants.
Slaughter and May advised Bupa Finance Plc on the lease of its headquarters at 1 Angel Court, London EC2, developed by Mitsui Fudosan and Stanhope, for a term of 15 years.
