Bird & Bird ATMD has acted for SGX-listed Cityneon Holdings Ltd in the recent acquisition of JP Exhibitions LLC for US$25 million, allowing it to make global use of the intellectual property of the Jurassic World Exhibition. This exhibition is a licensed spin-off from the blockbuster movie Jurassic World and is Cityneon's third acquisition. It follows Disney's Marvel Avengers STATION and Hasbro's Transformers Autobot Alliance.

The team involved in this transaction was led by Marcus Chow (Partner, Singapore).

Bird & Bird ATMD has acted for a consortium led by SGX-listed Cityneon Holdings Ltd's ("Cityneon") management, in the acquisition of a 52.51% stake in Cityneon for S$115.61 million from Star Media Group, one of the largest publication and printing companies in Malaysia.

DLA Piper has assisted Falck Renewables S.p.A., an Italian listed company, in connection with the acquisition of 80 percent of the shares in Vestavind Kraft AS.

Vestavind Kraft AS is the owner of the wind power projects Hennøy in Bremanger and Okla in Selje. The acquisition was completed on 1 September 2017. The projects have a planned capacity of around 70 MW, which could provide an annual output of 230 GWh.
