SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz advised FUCHS PETROLUB SE on the acquisition of Sweden-based Statoil Fuel & Retail Lubricants AB (SFR Lubricants), Stockholm, from Couche-Tard Luxembourg S.A.R.L., a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. The transaction was consummated on 1 October 2015. SFR Lubricants is one of the leading lubricant providers in Scandinavia and also operates in Poland, Russia and the Baltic States.

Reconomy Continues Growth Ambition With Acquisition Of Network Waste

Reconomy, the Telford based provider of outsourced waste management services, has announced the multi-million pound acquisition of Just Hire UK Limited, which trades as Network Waste.

The acquisition is the second for Reconomy this year following the purchase of Countrywide Waste Management Ltd in January 2015.

Reconomy is the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management services to the construction, house building, infrastructure and industrial and commercial sectors.

Noerr advises Zalando on takeover of Bread & Butter fashion fair

The leading international law firm Noerr has been assisting Zalando in diversifying its business model: a Noerr team led by partner Prof. Dr. Christian Pleister is advising the MDax company on the takeover of the Berlin fashion fair Bread & Butter. Zalando is acquiring the operating company of the trade fair under an insolvency plan procedure. The creditors have unanimously approved the insolvency plan today, and the insolvency proceedings are expected to be terminated soon.

Norton Rose Fulbright acts for Coffey International on major Tetra Tech acquisition

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright is acting for Australia’s first geotechnical engineering firm, Coffey International Limited, on a takeover bid by US-based Tetra Tech.

The two companies have entered into a bid implementation agreement under which Tetra Tech or its nominee will make an off-market takeover offer for 100 per cent of the Coffey shares on issue.

Ashurst advises Sibanye on A$413m acquisition of Aquarius

Ashurst has advised Sibanye Gold Limited (Sibanye) on the A$413 million acquisition of Aquarius Platinum Limited (Aquarius).

Sibanye and Aquarius have entered into an implementation agreement pursuant to which Sibanye will acquire all of the issued capital of Aquarius by way of an amalgamation regulated by the Bermuda Companies Act.
The amalgamation values Aquarius at US$294 million (approximately A$413 million), representing a 62% premium to Aquarius' one-month Volume Weighted Average Price.
