World market leader Delachaux takes over Frauscher Sensortechnik

Delachaux Group, world market leader in rail infrastructure technology, is taking over the Upper Austrian Frauscher Sensortechnik from the private equity fund Greenbriar. The Schärding-based group is a technology leader in the field of train detection and simplifies railway operators’ access to information required for the smooth operation of their infrastructure.

S&C Client Juniper Networks to Acquire Mist Systems for $405M

Juniper Networks Inc.—a multinational networking hardware corporation—announced March 4 a plan to acquire Mist Systems Inc. for $405 million. 
 
The S&C team on the transaction includes Alison Ressler (who was recently named to The Deal's “Women in M&A: The Powerhouse 20”), Matthew Barnett (Corporate), Matthew Friestedt (Executive Compensation), Davis Wang (Tax), Renata Hesse and Eric Queen (U.S. Antitrust), and Michael Rosenthal (Global Competition).
 

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Auctus and its portfolio companies GS Star Hotels on the acquisition of Rilano Group

With a team led by Boris Dürr and Dr. Oliver Treptow, both from the firm’s Munich office, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised private equity investor Auctus and its portfolio company GS Star Hotels on the acquisition of a majority interest in Rilano Holding GmbH. With this transaction, GS Star group is consistently implementing its expansion concept and expanding its offering to include additional hotels in Germany and Austria. Following the acquisition, GS Star group will grow to a scheduled sales volume for 2019 of over EUR 100 million.

Taylor Wessing advises Rubix Group on acquisition of Schafer Technik in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Rubix Group has reached an agreement to acquire Schafer Technik Group, consisting of Schafer Technik GmbH (Germany), Schafer Technik GmbH (Austria) and C. Pluss & Co. AG (Switzerland). Taylor Wessing acted as lead counsel of Rubix in this transaction.

With a turnover of more than 2.2 billion Euro in 2018, Rubix Group is Europe's largest supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services. Rubix was created from the merger of IPH with Brammer in 2017, following the acquisition of Brammer and IPH by Advent International.
