DLA Piper represents Diamond Resorts International, Inc. in its acquisition by Apollo Global Management LLC

DLA Piper advised Las Vegas-based luxury timeshare resort company Diamond Resorts International in its acquisition by private equity firm Apollo Global Management for US $2.2 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the next few months.

Diamond Resorts International has a network of more than 420 vacation destinations located in 35 countries throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Central America, Europe, Asia, Australasia and Africa.

Latham Advises on the acquisition of FC Internazionale Milano S.p.A. by Suning Holdings

F.C. Internazionale Milano’s Shareholders have approved the issuing of 3,263,021,485 new ordinary shares assigned to Suning Holdings Group. The resolution is part of the agreement that allows Suning Holdings Group to acquire the majority stake (68.55%) in F.C. Internazionale Milano S.p.A, one of Europe’s leading football clubs since its founding in 1908, through the purchase of ordinary shares.

Travers Smith LLP has advised longstanding client Silverfleet Capital and other selling shareholders on the sale of Cimbria Holdings Limited ("Cimbria") to AGCO Your Agriculture Company ("AGCO"), for approximately €310 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2016.

Travers Smith has acted for the Wireless Group, formerly UTV Media plc, since UTV's takeover of the Wireless Group in 2005.

Osborne Clarke advises Zaquensis Personalservice on management buyout with Accent Group

International legal practice Osborne Clarke advised Zaquensis Personalservice GmbH on its sale to Accent Group. Together with two co-shareholders, the Belgium- based, Accent Group, acquired all shares of the company as part of a management buyout.

Zaquensis Personalservice GmbH is a German staffing firm that has 55 service centers across the country and more than 4,500 employees.

Rabobank and DLL sell Athlon Car Lease to Daimler AG for EUR 1.1 billion

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek has advised Rabobank and its subsidiary DLL on selling their mobility solutions entity Athlon Car Lease International, including all its subsidiaries, to Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Nederland, a part of the Daimler Financial Services global network.

The sale transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2016, once all required approvals and consents have been obtained from the necessary regulatory authorities and other relevant bodies. The consideration for the shares amounts to EUR 1.1 billion.
