Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised the shareholders of J.W. Ostendorf GmbH & Co. KG (JWO), one of Germany's leading paint manufacturers, on the sale of 65 per cent shares to Hempel A/S. Hempel A/S, based in Denmark, one of the world's leading manufacturers of coating solutions. The acquisition is subject to approval by the German Federal Cartel Office (FCO) and the British Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

Gide, counsel to Boursorama on the sale of its stake in Self Trade Bank to Warburg Pincus

Societe Generale Group, through Boursorama, has agreed to sell the entire stake of Boursorama in Self Trade Bank S.A.U., its Spanish subsidiary, to private equity fund Warburg Pincus.

This transaction is part of Societe Generale Group's continuous effort to simplify its setup to focus on its core businesses and create synergies within the Group. It will have a limited positive impact on Societe Generale Group’s financial ratios.

The sale is expected to close before the end of year, following completion of the necessary regulatory authorisations.

Sale of Sensortec to Swedish Latour group

Dr. Rainer Herschlein and his team of lawyers comprehensively advised Frankfurt-based investment company VR Equitypartner GmbH and the other shareholders of vohtec Qualitätssicherung GmbH – BÖLLINGER GROUP Holding GmbH and the company’s two managing shareholders – on the sale of their shares to ELEMENT Materials Technology Herne GmbH and accompanied the transaction. The relevant agreements were signed on June 1, 2018. The sale is subject to antitrust approval.
