International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Sidra Capital on the acquisition of BrandLoyalty’s headquarters in Den Bosch, the Netherlands for €42.8m. The Dutch real estate team, led by Rob Hendriks and Luc Cohen, supported Sidra Capital with the purchase from a private investor.
Sidra Capital is a financial services company based in Saudi Arabia which is looking to expand their European presence. This acquisition is a part of Sidra Capital’s pan-European investment strategy and their first Dutch addition to their portfolio. The 18.000 m² state of the art property, located in a prime location in the center of Den Bosch, is under a multi-year lease by BrandLoyalty, a company which creates loyalty programs for retail companies.
Lead partners Rob Hendriks and Luc Cohen commented:
"We are very proud to have advised Sidra Capital on their first acquisition in the Netherlands. Brand Loyalty is a leading player in the market of Loyalty programmes." - Rob Hendriks
"Advising on acquiring its headquarters was a challenging and interesting job, especially since it was a cross border acquisition (financing from of a German bank)." - Luc Cohen
Luc Cohen and Rob Hendriks were assisted by Siemkje Batenburg, Tijmen Brüne and Anne-Fleur van ‘t Hooft, Jan-Joost van Rijsbergen, Carolin Glänzel and Paulien Alberts, and Jaïra Mees-Bolle, Liesbeth Mulckhuijse and Liesbeth Driest.
