Allen & Overy LLP advises the Abu Dhabi MAR Group on the acquisition of the operations of the Lindenau shipyard.
The Kiel-based company has been under insolvency administration since December 2008 and has been significantly restructured by administrator Jan H. Wilhelm. The transaction has completed.
Abu Dhabi MAR acquires the overall business operations and takes over all staff. In addition, Abu Dhabi MAR acquires real property from the German Federal Agency for Property Matters, BIMA, which had been used by Lindenau on the basis of hereditary building rights.
