Allen & Overy is advising Mr. Lorenz Hampl, one of the two inventors, founders, owners and managing directors of the company behind the fritz-kola brand, on the exit from the company as shareholder and managing director. His business partner and co-founder Mirco Wolf Wiegert will take over his shares.

The company, which was founded in 2003 by Lorenz Hampl and Mirco Wolf Wiegert, has been a real success story; it has boasted high levels of growth for several years, and 2016 has been the most successful year to date. As a proportion of total sales, European sales rose from 3.5% to 5%, and further European expansion, particularly into France, is planned for the coming year. The two founders have also successfully launched the Anjola brand, offering additional services and generating additional sales in the organic sector.
