Ashurst advises Berkeley Group on securing planning permission

04 Nov 2014

Ashurst advised Berkeley Group, one of the UK's best known developers of new homes, on securing planning permission for up to 750 new homes at Warfield near Bracknell, Berkshire. The development also includes a new two form entry primary school, substantial areas of public open space, a new north-south link road and a senior living scheme.

The grant of permission follows extensive negotiations with Bracknell Forest Borough Council, as planning and highways authority, and landowners with whom Berkeley has entered into option arrangements.

The Ashurst team was led by real estate partner Richard Vernon. Partner Anthony Curnow, assisted by solicitor Tom Rowberry, led the planning and public authority work.
