Ashurst advised HSH Nordbank AG on the financing of the acquisition of an office building at Schreiberhauer Straße 2-22 in Berlin by IREIT Global, a listed Singaporean Real Estate Investment Trust. HSH Nordbank has provided around €100 million for this transaction. The seller of the office building is Wealthcap Real Estate Management GmbH.

The Ashurst team was led by banking partner Dr Stephan Kock and comprised partner Derk Opitz, senior associate Andreas Mallin and transaction lawyer Emilie Veyran-Müller (all banking, Frankfurt).

Ashurst previously advised in connection with the financing of an investment of IREIT Global in Germany. In the summer of 2014, Ashurst acted for DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale on the financing of the acquisition of four campus complexes, let to Deutsche Telekom, and a business park near Munich.
