Ashurst advised International Financial Data Services (IFDS) in connection with its 20 year agreement to provide outsourcing for back and mid office services to Old Mutual and Skandia Life. The integration of IFDS administration, process and technology is due to start in 2016. The IFDS technology should facilitate response to independent financial adviser and customer needs more quickly than currently.
The Ashurst team was led by financial institutions group partner James Perry and technology and commercial partner Mark Lubbock, assisted by counsel Brian Murphy and associates Mark Sweeny and Chris Ingram. Senior associates Lauren Moore and Ruth Buchanan advised on the employment law aspects.
