We are pleased to announce that Cecilie Aasprong Dyrnes is promoted to partner in our Tax department as from 1 January 2015. Dyrnes joined AdeB as senior lawyer in 2013 and was prior to that director and lawyer in PwC since 2002. Dyrnes has also experience from Oslo County Tax Office and The Customs Authority.

Dyrnes primarily provides legal assistance within the fields of value added tax (VAT), customs and excise duties for different sectors and industries, i.a. finance, real estate, industry/retail, health and public sector. She has litigated VAT cases before Norwegian courts of law and she was admitted to act as an attorney before The Norwegian Supreme Court in 2008.

She lectures VAT at the Master programmes of Oslo Business School and at the University of Bergen, and she speaks regularly in seminars about VAT. She is the co-editor and co-writer of the Book “Practical VAT” published in 2012, and she is a co-writer of the VAT Act Commentary which will be published in 2015. This is a substantial contribution to a further strengthening of our Tax department in the years to come.
