Baker & McKenzie advised the stock-listed Swiss investment holding company Airesis S.A. on its sale of the Boards & More Group to EMERAM Capital Partners. The Boards & More Group is one of the world’s leading company for kite surfing, windsurfing and stand up paddling and biking equipment with the brands Fanatic, ION und North. The company generated revenues of approximately EUR45 million in 2012.

The transaction was structured as an asset-share deal and comprised subsidiaries of the Boards & More Group in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. Baker & McKenzie therefore accompanied the transaction with a cross boarder team of lawyers.

Airesis is a Swiss investment holding company. During its history, the main investment areas were concentrated in real estate and brands. Aside of Boards & More the company’s portfolio also includes the French renown brand  Le Coc Sportif.

One of the latest projects included advising Penta Investments on the purchase of the engineering company Gehring Technologies, TVH Group on the acquisition of mateco group, Serafin on its acquisition of CONICA Sports Surfaces as well as Veolia Transdev on its sale of its central European transport business to the Deutsche Bahn.
