Baker McKenzie has advised Atari, one of the world leaders in the publishing and production of interactive games, a company listed on Euronext Paris, in the framework of an increase in capital in the form of a private placement.
This 7.5 million euro private placement was made by means of an accelerated book building process.
This fundraising should enable Atari to accelerate its development plan and enhance the value of its portfolio of more than 200 games internationally.
The Baker McKenzie team was led by Matthieu Grollemund and François-Xavier Naime, partners, with Diane Kisler, associate.
Over the past few months, the Baker McKenzie Paris capital markets team has been acting as legal counsel to the issuer, lead manager and bookrunner establishments or investors, in particular on fundraising with Nanobiotix (Euronext Paris), Le Tanneur (Euronext Paris), Visiomed (Alternext Paris) and Néovacs (Alternext Paris). The team also advised Novo Nordisk on the occasion of its additional investment in Innate Pharma (Euronext Paris) and Philip Morris International (Euronext Paris) in the framework of the delisting of its shares.
