Agta Record AG, through Record Holding Netherlands, acquired Imtech Toegangstechniek BV, one of the leading providers of automated pedestrian doors and related maintenance services in the world.  Record Holding Netherlands is a subsidiary of the Swiss-listed company Agta Record AG, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automatic door systems.

Last week, the Royal Imtech group declared bankruptcy and liquidators started investigating the sale of different parts of Imtech. By means of a fire sale, Imtech Toegangstechniek was offered to the market. Although several parties were interested, Record Holding Netherlands completed the acquisition of Imtech branch, in close collaboration with Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam.

Record Holding was advised by a multidisciplinary team of Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam, consisting of Mike Jansen (as deal captain), Reinout Bautz, Valerie van den Berg and Natusia Szeliga.
