BEITEN BURKHARDT advises the Chinese e-mobility company NextEV on its market entry in Germany. An international team of engineers and designers will develop a new electric vehicle for the growing global e-mobility market in the new development centre in Munich.

NextEV is a Chinese start-up company planning on developing and marketing electric vehicles around the world. With its team NextEV TRC, the company founded by successful Chinese IT entrepreneurs is also competing in the racing series "Formula E".

In addition to matters of corporate and trademark law, the advisory services of BEITEN BURKHARDT include real estate matters with respect to the leasing of a development centre in downtown Munich as well as advice on the employment of highly qualified development and design engineers.

The project is an example for the success of BEITEN BURKHARDT's long-term China strategy. As one of the first German law firms BEITEN BURKHARDT has been advising international companies on investments in China since the 1990ies. During the last years, the law firm has been increasingly successful in using its strong presence in China to expand its advisory services to Chinese companies investing in Germany.
