Borenius advised Nordea as the sole coordinating bookrunner and Danske, Handelsbanken, Pohjola, SEB and Swedbank as mandated lead arrangers with the financing of a new property investment company Certeum Ltd.

Certeum owns, leases and develops logistics and industrial properties. On 30 September 2014, Certeum acquired 12 real estate properties from Sponda Plc, 22 real estate properties from Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company as well as partnership interests in Sponda Fund I, Sponda Fund II and Sponda Fund III (the total value of the real estate properties being approximately EUR 920 million).The majority of the properties are located in the largest cities in Finland.
