Castellum divest real property and operations for SEK 1.9 billion

Castellum’s subsidiary Fastighets AB Corallen has divested a real property portfolio comprising 53 properties in southern Sweden to Hemfosa Fastigheter for approximately SEK 1.9 billion. The transaction also includes a transfer by Castellum subsidiary Eklandia Fastigheter AB of a real property in Gothenburg to the same buyer. In connection with the divestment, all the employees in Corallen’s property management organization in Värnamo and Växjö will transfer to Hemfosa Fastigheter.

Castellum is one of the major listed real estate companies in Sweden. The value of the real estate portfolio amounts to approximately SEK 40 billion and comprises premises for office, retail, warehouse and industrial purposes. Castellum is listed on NASDAQ Stockholm.

Fastighets AB Corallen and Eklandia Fastighets AB were advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team consisted primarily of Johan Ljungberg, Henric Diefke, Hillevi Börjesson, Linnea Ljung-Haanäs, Charlotte Nyström, Tobias Normann and Nathalie Jonsson.
