Charles Russell Speechlys LLP were pleased to advise Eliquo Water Group GmbH, a leading European water treatment and engineering solutions company on its acquisition and corporate restructuring of water utility engineering specialist, Hydrok UK Limited.
The deal sees Eliquo establish a presence in the UK municipal water and wastewater technology market. Hydrok will gain access to Eliquo’s technology portfolio and will also retain its established senior management team, who have worked in the business for many years.
The Eliquo Water Group is an arm of the German investment company SKion GmbH, and specialises in municipal water and waste water equipment engineering. The companies within the group offer a full range of high-quality products for the fields of project development, plant engineering and service.
Hydrok has extensive experience and track record of working with all the major water utility companies throughout the UK and Eire. Its head office and main manufacturing base is located in Cornwall, with additional satellite 'service and installation' depots throughout the country.
