Cleary Gottlieb and Nctm with Peninsula Capital for the acquisition of 13% of NTV

Cleary Gottlieb and Nctm Studio Legal assisted Peninsula Capital in the acquisition of 13% of New Passenger Transport S.p.A. (“NTV”), the first Italian operator on the high-speed rail network, operating under the Italo brand.

The transaction, which saw the sale by some shareholders of 13% of the share capital, allows Peninsula Capital to become one of the largest shareholders of NTV.
Peninsula Capital is a European financial investor focused on the acquisition of strategic shares in companies located mainly in Southern Europe, with a cooperative approach to support long-term growth and development plans.

Peninsula Capital was assisted by Cleary Gottlieb with a team led by Roberto Casati and Matteo Montanaro assisted by Lorenzo Freddi, Luca Bernini and Roberto Cugnasco for corporate profiles and Luciana Bellia for profile regulations, and Nctm with a team led by Sante Ricci and Piero Corigliano.
